About the Opportunity:

We are recruiting an experienced Hydraulic Network Design Expert to join our team in Bristol. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing hydraulic networks to mitigate flood risks and improve drainage systems.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop innovative solutions that address complex flood risk challenges.

  • Design and develop hydraulic models to assess and mitigate flood risks in urban and rural areas.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines to deliver integrated solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.
  • Drive innovation to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and quality of projects, guaranteeing exceptional outcomes.
About You:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Proven experience in hydraulic network design and development.
  • The ability to produce clear, high-quality technical reports.
  • Commercial awareness and the capacity to manage projects on time and within budget.
  • Expertise in hydraulic modelling software for flood risk or environmental management.
  • A solid understanding of flood risk assessments and planning.
  • Knowledge of UK flood risk policies and hydrological methods.
  • Expertise in flood risk management techniques and option appraisals.
