A leading civil engineering contractor in Northern Ireland is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager / Project Director to lead the delivery of a large-scale water supply project.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile project that will provide a resilient supply of clean and clear water to customers. As a Senior Project Manager / Project Director, you will be responsible for delivering operational excellence throughout the project and the team, managing the project team and supply chain to deliver the project to cost, time and quality standards.

You will engage with clients frequently, building rapport and ensuring a clear understanding of their objectives. This includes retaining effective and current records on progress of delivery reports, health and safety, risks. Excellent planning, coordination, communication, team management, and programming skills are essential for this role. You must have a strong working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme & Risk Management, and cost control.

The company is one of Northern Ireland's Tier 1 Contractors with a strong reputation in the Civils and Construction industry. They have been involved in some of the largest projects in the UK and Ireland and continue to expand due to exponential growth.

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previously held a Senior Project Management role on large Civils projects, both in size and value. A degree in Engineering or equivalent is required, as well as all appropriate and valid management tickets. Travel may be required for this role, and you must be willing to commit to weekly travel.

Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum

The company offers a competitive base salary, attractive car allowance, payment of an annual professional membership, contributory pension plans up to 6%, Health Shield (Medical & Dental Cover included), 34 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), enhanced family policies, and living away from home allowance.
