About the Role:

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their Delivery Group, focusing on non-infrastructure UK water engineering projects. This role involves serving as a technical specialist and/or project lead, applying advanced engineering techniques to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance on design standards, systems, and engineering codes.
  • Prepare calculations and civil engineering deliverables, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
  • Lead and mentor teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Coordinate with internal and external team members on complex projects.
  • Develop specifications for materials, construction techniques, and data management.
  • Act as a technical specialist, offering advice and guidance to project teams.
  • Oversee health and safety compliance for design aspects.

What Our Client is Looking For:

  • A strong background in Civil Engineering Design and/or Hydraulics/Structural engineering.
  • Experience in design and build projects, particularly in non-infrastructure water/wastewater treatment works.
  • Proven leadership skills to manage multidisciplinary teams, including structural, geotechnical, and hydraulic specialists.
  • A proactive approach to mentoring and developing junior staff.
