Public Health Policy Specialist

Baltimore Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Public Health Strategist to join our team. As a Public Health Strategist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing policies and strategies to improve the health and well-being of babies, children, and young people.
Key Responsibilities:- Policy Development: Plan, develop, and deliver health partnership policies and strategies for babies, children, and young people.
- Evidence Analysis: Analyze evidence to support the alignment of policies and strategies and assist in implementing these policies.
- Collaboration and Partnerships: Work closely with internal and external partners, as well as the voluntary sector, to achieve desired outcomes.
- Experience: Experience of working within a Local Authority as a Public Health Strategist.
- Knowledge: Experience of the following: 0-19 healthy child services, infant feeding, Start for Life, Family Hubs, SEND, CYP mental health, childhood obesity.
- Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Education: Degree or related experience within Public Health.
Applicants must have experience of working with Children and Young People to be considered for this role.
