Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Privacy Advisor to join our team at Barclay Simpson. As a Data Privacy Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with data protection regulations and laws.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have previous experience in handling complex Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and will be responsible for working closely with the Data Protection Officer to ensure the company's data protection policies and procedures are up-to-date and effective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle complex DSARs and ensure timely responses to data subject requests
  • Work closely with the Data Protection Officer to develop and implement data protection policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular data protection audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on data protection best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in data protection laws and regulations and ensure the company's compliance
