Job Title: Light Commercial Vehicle Technician

Our client, a leading automotive company, is seeking a skilled Light Commercial Vehicle Technician to join their busy service team in Stockton-on-Tees. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting diagnostic tests, performing routine maintenance tasks, and repairing and replacing parts in light commercial vehicles.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting diagnostic tests on light commercial vehicles to identify issues and provide accurate repair solutions.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Repairing and replacing parts including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Conducting thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and prevent future issues.
  • Collaborating with team members and communicating effectively with customers to provide exceptional service and ensure satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Level 3 NVQ in automotive maintenance and repair or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Light Commercial Vehicle Technician or similar role.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various mechanical and electrical issues in light commercial vehicles.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
