Job Title: Fire Safety Programme Administrator

MMP Consultancy is seeking a Fire Safety Programme Administrator to join an excellent Local Authority in South London on a temporary basis. The purpose of this role is to administer and manage the fire risk assessment programme for all relevant buildings within the borough.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the overall programme, ensuring compliance with the Council's legal and mandatory obligations.
  • Manage and administer the programme of fire risk assessments and other fire safety related matters.
  • Record and evidence compliance with the Council's legal obligations under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
  • Manage workloads of Fire Surveyors to ensure maximum use of resources.
  • Develop and manage IT systems to ensure they remain fit for purpose.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on levels of compliance and areas of concern.
