Consumer PR Agency Director Opportunity

Black Cherry Recruitment Ltd is seeking a seasoned Consumer PR Agency Director to join its team in Manchester.

This premier Consumer PR agency has an exciting opportunity for a Consumer PR Agency Director to lead its team and drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience working at top-flight PR agencies, preferably in the North West or London, with a strong track record of delivering results for household consumer brands.

Clients cover big brand consumer retail, hospitality, travel/tourism, FMCG, leisure, and lifestyle.

The Consumer PR Agency Director will be responsible for directing a team of account handlers and will be able to demonstrate outstanding leadership skills and make a positive impact on the consultancy's commercial and corporate goals.

The role involves handling a range of clients, with support from account managers and executives, working to financial targets set by the company.

As an ambassador for the consultancy, the candidate should possess a detailed knowledge of the media, marketplace, trends, competitor activity, and business in general.

The planning and organisational skills required should be of the highest standard, as well as the ability to work under the constant stresses and strains created by working in a fast-paced and demanding field.

Presentation and business development skills for a Consumer PR Agency Director should be of the highest order, and the ability to bring creativity and a solutions-led approach to the role is essential.

The ideal candidate should be able to liaise with clients at a senior level, having earned respect as a seasoned professional who is in charge of their account on a day-to-day basis.
