Consumer PR Account Director Opportunity

Black Cherry Recruitment Ltd is seeking a seasoned Consumer PR Account Director to join its team in Manchester or a hybrid setup.

This premier Consumer PR agency is looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in consumer PR, ideally with 4-5 years of experience working at top-flight PR agencies in the North West or London.

Clients in this role will cover big brand consumer retail, hospitality, travel/tourism, FMCG, leisure, and lifestyle sectors.

The Account Director will be responsible for directing a team of account handlers and will demonstrate outstanding leadership skills, making a positive impact and contribution towards the consultancy's commercial and corporate goals.

The Account Director will handle a range of clients, with support from account managers and executives, working to financial targets set by the company.

As an ambassador for the consultancy, the candidate should possess a detailed knowledge of the media, marketplace, trends, competitor activity, and business in general.

The ideal candidate will have big brand consumer PR agency experience, strategic ability, team management skills, a solid working knowledge of online and traditional PR, a can-do and ambitious attitude, a creative outlook, and new business acumen.

To be successful in this role, the candidate should be able to liaise with clients at a senior level, having earned respect as a seasoned professional who is in charge of their account on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities
