Export Control Specialist

STR Group Limited is seeking an experienced Export Control Manager to join our team. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our business operations comply with UK and US export regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert advice and guidance to employees on export control regulations and procedures
- Manage the operational and strategic aspects of trade, customs, and security compliance activities
- Develop and implement compliance procedures and processes to ensure adherence to regulations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive a culture of compliance and risk management
- Represent the company in external compliance verification activities, such as ECJU inspections
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience
- Background in international trade compliance or a related field
- Advanced knowledge of UK and US trade regulations, including EAR, ITAR, and OFAC
- Proficiency in export licensing and agreements, including TAAs, MLAs, and MOD approvals
