An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a key member of our team within the Emergency Department.

We are seeking an organized and self-motivated individual who can effectively support clinical colleagues with administration duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for the registration of patients attending the department and assisting with various administrative tasks.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Registration and Administrative Support: Deliver an effective support service to the Emergency Directorate, contributing to quality patient care provision by completing comprehensive clerical and administrative tasks that support the emergency patient pathway.
  • Patient Registration and Follow-up: Register all Emergency Department patients' demographic details on Firstnet in real-time, notify medical records of duplicated records, update deceased patient records, prepare documentation for the Coroners office team, and data cleanse Firstnet at registration.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration/Customer Care or equivalent experience.
  • GCSE or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience with healthcare administrative systems and processes.

The ideal salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
