Financial and Treasury Support Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial and Treasury Support Officer to join our dedicated team of Finance professionals at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting, with experience of working in a large and complex organisation. They will be able to analyse and interpret complex financial information, and present it in a clear and concise manner to both finance and non-finance staff.
The role will involve supporting the key functions within the Financial Services environment, including daily input, complex reconciliations, and preparing working papers in support of the annual accounts.
Main Responsibilities
The post holder will have particular responsibility for the Trust cashiering function, as well as identifying and recording Trust income. They will also be responsible for complex reconciliations and will support the team with the year end process.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, including A-level standard in Mathematics, and NVQ level 4 or equivalent level of knowledge and experience. They will also have experience of technical accounting, capital accounting, and/or financial management experience in the NHS or other large complex organisation.
