Senior / Principal Infrastructure Engineer – Infrastructure – Windows – Liverpool

Swent Consulting, LLC. is seeking a highly skilled Senior / Principal Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for providing robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure support.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in infrastructure management and technical leadership, with a strong background in Windows, Active Directory, Virtualisation, Storage, and Security systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing IT infrastructure solutions, as well as ensuring the security and availability of our systems.

We are looking for a candidate who is proficient in ISO27k, CE+, PCI DSS, and other accreditations, with a proven track record in managing secure environments, such as police or defence sectors. If you have at least 5 years of experience in a senior technical role and are passionate about delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure support.
  • Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions.
  • Ensure the security and availability of our systems.
  • Lead major incident management and technical problem resolution.
  • Conduct regular system reviews, audits, and implement improvements.
  • Ensure disaster recovery plans are regularly tested and effective.

What We're Looking For:

  • Extensive experience in infrastructure management and technical leadership.
  • Proficiency with Windows, Active Directory, Virtualisation, Storage, and Security systems.
  • Experience in IT Infrastructure Solutions design, development, and implementation.
  • Familiarity with ISO27k, CE+, PCI DSS, and other accreditations.
