About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team at NHS Professionals. As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with hearing loss, formulating individualized care plans, and working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake routine and complex clinical caseloads in general Audiology without supervision.
  • Carry out all routine aspects of diagnostic and rehabilitative adult and some pediatric audiology, while also becoming involved in the most advanced techniques and procedures.
  • Job involves the care of people with hearing loss, formulating individualized care plans for those diagnosed with hearing difficulties, working with inpatients and outpatients in acute, community, and domiciliary environments, along with working in Tier 2 assessment clinics of children.
  • You will communicate calmly, compassionately, and effectively reassuring service users so they feel valued, heard, and understood. A born organizer with a flexible approach, you will have your own caseload of patients to manage.
  • You will be a member of a Multidisciplinary Team within the Audiology service.
Requirements
  • BSc Audiology
  • RCCP and/or HCPC registration
  • MSc in Audiology with competency certificate
  • Demonstrable postgraduate clinical experience in balance assessment and general audiology
