Audiologist Position in Berkshire Healthcare

We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team in Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Audiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic and rehabilitative care to adults and children.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in Audiology, with experience in adult diagnostic and rehabilitative care. You will be registered with the Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and hold an up-to-date CPD portfolio.
Key responsibilities will include working autonomously in both adult and some paediatric testing, taking detailed medical and audiological histories, interpreting test results, and advising patients on audiological management options.

Requirements- BSc in Healthcare Science - Audiology / HCCC in Audiology
- Prior to 2006, basic qualification in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurements (or equivalent) and successfully completed both parts of BAAT I and II and/or HTEC in MPPM
- Possess AHCS/HCPC registration and hold an up-to-date CPD portfolio
- Demonstrated during or post-qualification experience working autonomously in both adult and some paediatric testing in both diagnostic and rehabilitative areas
- Possess good computer and database skills
- Possess fine manual dexterity
- Have flexible approach to working hours
- Evidence of an enquiring mind, with a scientific approach and a commitment to Trust values
- Willingness to undertake further professional training
