About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Audiologist to join our team of healthcare scientists at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 5 Audiologist, you will be empowered to support patients with complex conditions, adopting a personalised approach to patient care that maximises independence, choice and control.

The service is based in Windsor, and also covers several sites across east Berkshire. You will work with a range of complex adult and paediatric patients for audiological assessment and rehabilitation, as well as providing audiology support to ENT colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine aspects of diagnostic and rehabilitative adult and some pediatric audiology
  • Become involved in the most advanced techniques and procedures
  • Formulate individualised care plans for those diagnosed with hearing difficulties
  • Work with inpatients and outpatients in acute, community and domiciliary environments
  • Work in Tier 2 assessment clinics of children

Requirements

  • BSc in Audiology or Medical Physics/Physiological Measurements and BAAT I and II, and RCCP registration (or ready to register)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • IT literate and ideally experience of using Auditbase and DATIX
