About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team in a rural setting, providing support to individuals with mental health conditions and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized care plans to provide tailored support to service users.
  • Engage residents in activities to promote their physical and mental well-being.
  • Assist with basic moving and handling duties, including the use of hoists, to ensure the health and safety of all service users.
  • Perform basic cleaning duties as needed, adhering to safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 months paid UK experience in a care home or supported living service.
  • References: Two professional care-related references.
  • Training: Up-to-date mandatory training certificates or willingness to complete training (we offer subsidized online courses).
  • DBS Certificate: Enhanced DBS covering Adults and Children.
  • Transport: Access to your own vehicle.

Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly rate: £11.50 per hour.
