Senior Support Worker Opportunity

Voyage Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team in Burton-on-Trent. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of the individuals we support.

About the Role

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, and challenging behaviors. You will work closely with the Manager to allocate shifts, book training, and ensure the smooth operation of the service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered support to individuals with complex needs
  • Assist with supervision and management of the service
  • Allocate shifts and ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Book training and development opportunities for colleagues
  • Support individuals with managing their finances and daily living tasks

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker
  • A Level 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, and challenging behaviors
