Job Title: Advanced Podiatrist

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Podiatrist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients with complex foot conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients with high-risk diabetes, chronic neuropathy, and other complex foot conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including wound management and tissue viability.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, including podiatrists and assistant practitioners.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental protocols.
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration as a podiatrist.
  • Experience working in an MDT environment and managing staff.
  • Excellent advanced clinical skills, including wound management and tissue viability.
  • Ability to interpret diagnostic imaging and relevant blood results.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
