Job Summary

Ashfield Healthcare seeks an experienced Credit Controller to manage customer accounts and ensure financial stability. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for cash collection, query resolution, credit management, payment processing, reporting, and escalation.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maximize cash flow by proactively contacting customers to ensure payments are received within agreed credit terms.
  2. Handle invoice queries and raise credit notes as necessary to maintain accurate financial records.
  3. Conduct credit checks and facilitate the opening of new customer accounts to expand our customer base.
  4. Process direct debits and credit card payments efficiently to minimize delays.
  5. Provide financial data and status updates regarding your ledger to inform business decisions.
  6. Manage accounts that require escalation to debt recovery or legal action to minimize financial risk.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Recent experience in a similar credit control role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and basic formulas to analyze and present financial data.
