**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Fortescue Zero in Banbury. As a key member of our facilities and maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and building systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, fixtures, and fittings.
  • Carry out weekly checks and ad-hoc tasks to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct minor building fabric repairs, decorating, and other general duties as required.
  • Act as Fire Marshall and First Aid responder.
  • Manage contractor control duties.

**Requirements:**

  • Possess practical skills and experience in Electrical & Mechanical or Multi-skill qualifications.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with self-motivation and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of statutory compliance and contractor control management.
  • Physical fitness is essential for manual handling and ladder usage.
  • Clean driving licence.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
