About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Milling Cell Leader to join our team at Recruitment Helpline Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplined team and implementing processes and procedures to ensure the delivery of safety critical products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and manage people, machines, and workflow to ensure production plans are achieved and customer requirements are satisfied.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment by ensuring adherence to health, safety, and 6S practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead daily start of shift and end of shift production plan and KPI meetings with the Cell team to monitor and manage Cell performance.
  • Prioritize and manage the order in which works orders are completed within the Cell to ensure Works Order due dates are achieved and production capacity is maximized.
  • Work closely with Production Engineering and Maintenance teams to ensure optimal running of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Recruit and train team members to ensure they are trained to a defined standard and are competent to perform their duties.
  • Manage holidays, time keeping, grievances, and discipline across the team to ensure manpower is always in place to deliver the production plan.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
