Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC). As a key member of our Workshop Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes that meet customer demands within the required lead-time and cost.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop manufacturing methods and sequences to optimize production efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including manufacturing methods and sequences.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Work with customers to optimize product design for manufacturability.
  • Develop and coach technicians in manufacturing processes.
  • Operate manufacturing processes to deliver customer deliverables.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in a manufacturing discipline, with a proven track record of process improvement.
  • Strong technical expertise in CAD/CAM software, including Solidworks and NX.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into manufacturing methods and sequences.
  • Lean manufacturing principles and experience with process improvement methodologies.
