Financial Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team at HireIQ. As a key member of our finance function, you will be responsible for leading a small team and overseeing the financial operations of our organization.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and well-rounded accountant who is keen to progress their career with a leading organization in the charity sector. You will have the opportunity to work with a friendly and established team, and contribute to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee a small team of finance staff
- Prepare monthly and year-end accounts
- Oversee AP/AR and payroll
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Cashflow management
- Tax compliance
- Driving continuous improvement across the finance function
- Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience in a similar role
- Ability to lead and develop finance personnel
- Excellent IT skills (Sage and MS Excel)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Market leading salary (negotiable based on experience)
