Financial Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team at HireIQ. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and well-rounded accountant who is keen to progress their career with a leading organisation in the charity sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the finance function, leading a small team and reporting to Senior Management.
- Prepare monthly and year-end accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage AP/AR and payroll, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
- Reconcile balance sheets, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement budgets and forecasts, driving business growth and improvement.
- Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience in a similar role.
- Ability to lead and develop finance personnel, fostering a positive and productive team culture.
- Excellent IT skills, including Sage and MS Excel, with a strong understanding of financial software and systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
