About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate cover supervisor to support our schools in West Cornwall.

As a cover supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring a positive and safe learning environment.

You will support students with special educational needs, helping them to overcome barriers to learning.

You will implement pre-prepared lesson plans, ensuring students stay on task and manage any disruptions.

You will collaborate with support staff and promote the safeguarding and welfare of all students.

About You:

We are looking for someone with experience working with children, preferably within an educational or coaching setting.

You should be patient, empathetic, and dedicated.

You should have strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in their learning.

You should have a strong understanding of SEN and strategies to support young people.

You should be adaptable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You should be able to drive and have access to your own car.
