About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Apprenticeship Development Specialist to join our team as a Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Coach. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting learners and helping them achieve their career goals.

The Job Description

In this role, you will provide coaching and support to apprentices working towards their Teaching Assistant qualification and lead training sessions and workshops to help them build their knowledge in key areas such as child development, classroom management, and supporting inclusive learning.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide Coaching and Support: Guide and mentor apprentices throughout their Teaching Assistant apprenticeship, providing one-on-one support to ensure they are developing the necessary skills for success in the classroom.
  2. Deliver Training: Lead training sessions and workshops that help apprentices build their knowledge in key areas such as child development, classroom management, and supporting inclusive learning.
  3. Support with EPA Preparation: Assist apprentices in preparing for their End Point Assessment (EPA) by providing additional guidance, ensuring they understand the requirements, and helping them complete necessary tasks and assessments.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  1. Experience: Experience in Teaching Assistant Apprenticeships up to Level 3.
  2. Relevant Qualifications: Hold either a Teaching or Assessing qualification such as TAQA, CAVA, A1, PGCE, PTLLS or equivalent. Relevant qualification in STLS, Teaching Assistance or equivalent.
  3. Passion for Mentoring: A genuine passion for supporting learners and helping them achieve their career goals.
  4. Knowledge of the Apprenticeship Standard: Familiarity with the Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship framework or other work-based learning programs is advantageous.

What We Offer

This is a full-time permanent position based in the North West region. The salary for this role is £28,000 to £32,000 per annum. If you are passionate about education and have the necessary skills and qualifications, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
