Career Development and Apprenticeship Adviser Role at NICE

This role will play a key part in shaping our approach to the future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting high-quality apprenticeship programmes, maximising the use of the apprenticeship levy, and offering career and personal development opportunities.
  • Coordinating and communicating apprenticeship programme plans, working collaboratively across NICE teams.
  • Contributing to the widening participation agenda through placement schemes leading to employment, local and regional networks, and liaising with careers teams on hard-to-fill posts suitable for apprenticeships.
  • Undertaking learning needs analysis to identify career gaps and progression routes for managers and employees.
  • Supporting the Talent Development Manager with annual talent mapping and implementing development plans for high-potential employees and succession planning.
  • Managing placements, including inter-departmental placements, external organisation placements, and unpaid placements into NICE.

This role offers a competitive salary package, estimated around £35,000 per annum, based on national averages for similar roles in the NHS sector.
