We are seeking a passionate and skilled Food Technology Teacher to join our school in Derby. This full-time position is suitable for experienced Food Technology teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) alike.

You will be teaching KS3 and KS4 students, helping them develop their practical skills and understanding of food science, nutrition, and safe food preparation. Differentiating lessons for students of various abilities is key to your role.

Job Requirements:

  • Food Technology Teacher for KS3 and KS4
  • QTS or PGCE qualification
  • Degree in Food Technology, Home Economics, or a related field
  • Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 (desirable but not essential for ECTs)
