Assessor in Health and Social Care

As a Senior Healthcare Skills Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing and supporting learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 5. You will deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2, while managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted. Your exceptional organisational skills and ability to plan your time effectively will enable you to meet the demands of this challenging yet fulfilling position.
A competitive salary of £38,000 + BONUS with an additional £12,000 OTE is on offer, reflecting the value we place on your expertise and dedication. As a flexible worker, you will enjoy the freedom to work from home or visit clients in their own environments, provided you have a reliable vehicle and a clean driving licence. With regular travel required, a full driving licence is essential. If you possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of assessment procedures, and the ability to inspire and motivate learners, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 5.
- Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.

Requirements:
- Candidate must hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
- Successful candidates must have experience of delivering Apprenticeships (Previously as Frameworks and looking to return to assessing – or more recently assessed New Apprenticeship Standards) in Health and Social Care at Level 5.
- Hold occupational competency in Health and Social Care (Elderly), at Management level.
- Confident to deliver Maths and English Functional Skills.
