ESG Officer Job Description

Reporting to the People Operations Compliance Manager, the ESG Officer will provide administrative support, conduct research, and create presentations for Senior Directors and the wider business. Key responsibilities include coordinating new process rollouts, supporting ESG and Compliance Project Management, and focusing on the Carbon Footprinting Project and social best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the People Operations Compliance Manager in steering the future direction of CMS's ESG practices
  • Enhance CMS's reputation and relationships with investors, customers, suppliers, employees, and government agencies
  • Drive the collection, organization, and analysis of ESG data to meet global ESG reporting and communication needs
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather information and build relationships

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years' office administrator experience from an ESG background
  • Emotional Intelligence and Creative Thinking

Travel Requirements:

Travel to other CMS locations in the UK, Ireland, and internationally will be required.
