Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Fire Safety Officer. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in fire safety, working with our experienced team to provide support and advice to our hospitals.

As a Fire Safety Officer, you will be responsible for undertaking a structured learning programme, which will include learning and understanding fire risk assessments, delivering fire training, and developing fire training methods of delivery. You will also be involved in reviewing technical documents, responding to fire safety incidents, and dealing with day-to-day fire safety issues.

The successful candidate will receive training and mentoring to develop them to a position where they can undertake fire risk assessments, provide fire training, review technical documents, review capital schemes, respond to fire safety incidents, and deal with day-to-day fire safety issues.
