About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Fire Safety Team as an Apprentice Fire Safety Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in fire safety and risk assessment in a complex healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake fire risk assessments and develop a comprehensive understanding of fire safety principles and practices.
  • Deliver fire training to diverse groups of staff and develop effective training methods.
  • Review technical documents and capital schemes to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
  • Respond to fire safety incidents and deal with day-to-day fire safety issues.
Person Specification
  • Essential qualifications: 5 GCSEs Grade A-C.
  • Essential skills and behaviours: innovative problem-solving, keen to learn, confident public speaking, and computer literacy in Word and Excel.
  • Desirable experience: previous fire safety experience.
