Senior Quality Control Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team in North Lanarkshire, UK. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in refining quality management systems, supporting growth, and exceeding performance goals. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining QMS, managing specifications, and resolving internal and external issues through RCA investigations. If you have experience in quality or engineering, a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, and excellent problem-solving skills, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, improve, and maintain QMS to ensure compliance with industry standards and meet customer needs.
* Manage specifications, standards, and resolve both internal and external issues through RCA investigations.
* Oversee approved supplier certification database and support supplier performance management through RCA, reporting, and project improvements.
* Review work orders prior to release to operations and liaise with clients on quality concerns.
* Conduct internal and external audits per industry standards, including AS9100, and support external customer/certification audits.
* Perform FAIR activities for components and assemblies, ensuring quality in line with customer deliveries.
