Job Description: Inventory Management SpecialistAbout the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Berthon, The Shipyard as an Inventory Management Specialist. You will be responsible for managing our inventory, implementing effective materials distribution processes, and ensuring compliance with quality requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Manage inventory levels to meet operational demands.
  2. Develop and implement processes for receiving, storing, and issuing materials.
  3. Collaborate with Project Managers and Buyers to optimize materials supply chain.
  4. Supervise staff and maintain store facilities to ensure smooth operation.
  5. Oversee receipt and inspection of materials, including returning non-compliant items.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in inventory management and team leadership.
  • High level of computer literacy and experience with inventory management systems.
  • Knowledge of marine equipment and materials, with a good understanding of yacht production, refit, and repair requirements.
Estimated Salary:

£50,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
