Job Overview
East Ayrshire Council is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Residential Worker. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people in our residential settings.
Key Responsibilities
Attend to the physical and emotional needs of children and young people, promoting their development and well-being. Ensure a safe and supportive environment, facilitating positive relationships and experiences.
Requirements
This role involves regulated work with children and protected adults. You will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member before employment can commence. PVG members' records are regularly updated with new information, which may be discussed prior to formal offer of employment.

We follow national guidance on pre-employment checks, including requests for references from current or most recent employers. Provide details of two relevant references, one from an appropriate senior manager.
Additional Information
You may be required to work across multiple residential houses, serving various locations. This role comes with a competitive salary of £16,580 per annum.
