As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for answering emergency calls, providing life-saving advice and assistance to callers, and working closely with ambulance crews and other emergency services.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer emergency calls and provide prompt and professional assistance to callers
- Work closely with ambulance crews and other emergency services to prioritize calls and provide effective life support and medical advice
- Use critical thinking and decision-making skills to prioritize calls and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
- Communicate effectively with callers and other team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination
- Work effectively under pressure and with minimal supervision
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and with minimal supervision
- Ability to type at a minimum of 30 wpm with 90% accuracy
- Experience working in a customer-facing role or in a healthcare setting
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
