Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Team Manager to join our dynamic and growing Theatre Management team at Northampton General Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of staff to deliver high-quality patient care and maintain high levels of quality and safety in our busy 4 Theatre complex.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support Clinical Excellence: Act as a clinical leader and role model for all staff, maintaining a visible presence and addressing concerns and complaints from patients, relatives, and staff.
  • Leadership: Lead by example with drive and enthusiasm, responding appropriately to the needs of patients, families, and carers, and maintaining an appropriate management style that fosters innovation and change.
  • People/Management Excellence: Work alongside and with all other band 7 Managers within the theatre complex to ensure standards, safety, quality, and communication are optimal at all times.
