NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership provides clinical logistics transport services across all health boards in Wales through its Health Courier Service. We are seeking a Driver/Storekeeper to join our team in the Newport area, serving the entire country.
Our service handles over 1 million items of mail/medical notes per week and transports over 1 million movements of samples of Blood Products and Pathology annually. Our core services operate between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, with some extended hours.
Main Duties:
As a Health Courier Service Driver/Storekeeper, you will be responsible for managing stock items in store centers and ensuring the safe and secure transport, distribution, and replenishment of NHS Pathology, Blood/Blood Products, Secure and Non-Secure Stationery, Laundry, Mail/Records, and Stock items to primary healthcare sites across NHS Wales.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; both Welsh and English speakers are welcome to apply.
