NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership provides Clinical Logistics Transport Services across all Health Boards in Wales through its Health Courier Service. We are seeking Driver/Storekeeper staff to join this service in the Newport area, serving the entire country.

Our service sorts, delivers, and collects over 1 million items of mail/medical notes per week and transports over 1 million movements of samples of Blood Products and Pathology per year, adhering to Accord Dangereux Routier, Good Manufacturing Practice, and legislative requirements. Our core services operate between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, with some extended hours.

Main Duties:

As a Health Courier Service Driver/Storekeeper, you will be responsible for managing stock items in store centers and ensuring the safe and secure transport, distribution, and replenishment of NHS Pathology, Blood/Blood Products, Secure and Non-Secure Stationery, Laundry, Mail/Records, and Stock items to primary health care sites across NHS Wales.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
