About the Role

This challenging position is an exciting opportunity to join Petrofac as a Performance Development Technical Lead. You will be responsible for developing innovative engineering work on conceptual and FEED projects while supervising and guiding project teams to ensure efficient delivery to the highest technical standards. Your strong business development skills will enable you to identify and propose opportunities to develop business within or beyond projects you are directly involved in.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Developing innovative engineering work on conceptual and FEED projects.
  2. Supervising, guiding and directing project teams to ensure the project team understands the technical details and key features of the project.
  3. Business development - identifying and proposing opportunities to develop business within or beyond projects you are directly involved in.
  4. Proposal development - assisting in preparing proposals by providing technical expertise.
  5. Cost control - maintaining awareness of project CTRs and monitoring actual project activity hours.
  6. Financial performance monitoring - delivery of projects within specified targets.
  7. Creating, checking and approving project deliverables.
  8. Quality control - ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with corporate standards and procedures.
  9. Health, Safety & Environment - taking personal responsibility for own safety and that of others.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  1. Good understanding of interfaces between various engineering disciplines.
  2. Appreciation of onshore and offshore Oil & Gas facilities engineering as well as new energy sectors.
  3. Flexible and responsive approach to achieve Client's requirements.
  4. Presenting and discussing complex issues with Clients.
  5. Planning and forecasting ability.
  6. Good experience in early-stage project development within the oil & gas and/or new energies sectors.
  7. Relevant experience in FEED, EPC, Commissioning and/or Operations.
  8. Proficient in the use of project scheduling, estimating and cost accounting tools and methods.
  9. Honours degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
