Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a TA, you will work closely with a qualified class teacher to support the learning and well-being of students in our Lower School provision (7-13yrs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and support one pupil or a small group of no more than six pupils.
  • Report on pupils' progress and concerns, and liaise with other school staff to ensure their needs are met.
  • Supervise pupils during non-classroom time, including extra-curricular activities and school trips.
  • Assist with lesson planning and classroom preparation.
  • Build positive relationships with your pupil(s) and drive interaction and positive learning outcomes.

Requirements
  • A strong basic education, ideally to A-level, with a minimum of GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics.
  • Sound IT skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as Teaching Assistant.
  • Some previous experience of working with pupils with SEMH within an educational setting.
  • Be experienced and confident enough to take additional responsibility in an area of school, such as Food Hygiene, Forest School, Lunchtimes, or School Yoga.
  • Committed to professional development and willing to learn.
