We are seeking a skilled and experienced Parks and Open Spaces Inspector to join our Streetscene service. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our parks and open spaces are maintained to a high standard, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of parks and open spaces to identify any maintenance issues or hazards.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure that our parks and open spaces are well-maintained and meet the needs of users.
- Work with our grounds maintenance team to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Engage with stakeholders, including users, community groups, and other council departments, to ensure that our parks and open spaces meet their needs and expectations.
Requirements:
- Registered playground inspector with experience of completing inspections to EN1176 and EN1177 standards.
- Physically fit and able to work in a variety of outdoor environments.
- Hold a clean driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
