Parks and Open Spaces Inspector

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Parks and Open Spaces Inspector to join our Streetscene service team. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our playgrounds and parks are maintained to an excellent standard, providing a safe and active space for users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of playgrounds and parks to ensure compliance with EN1176 and EN1177 standards.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues or defects to the team.
- Work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.
- Engage with stakeholders, including users, community groups, and other council services, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Registered Playground Inspector qualification.
- Experience of completing inspections to EN1176 and EN1177 standards.
- Physical fitness to perform the demands of the role.
- Clean driving licence.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
