Parks and Open Spaces Inspector

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Parks and Open Spaces Inspector to join our Streetscene service. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our playgrounds and parks are maintained to an excellent standard, providing a safe and active space for users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of playgrounds and parks to ensure compliance with EN1176 and EN1177 standards.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues or defects to the team.
- Work collaboratively with the grounds maintenance team to ensure that all playgrounds and parks are well-maintained and safe for users.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality and safety of our outdoor spaces.
Requirements:
- Registered playground inspector with experience of completing inspections to EN1176 and EN1177 standards.
- Physically fit and able to work in a variety of outdoor environments.
- Hold a clean driving licence.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with all stakeholders.
