Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with autism and additional needs in a mainstream primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support to students, ensuring that their individual education and behavior plans are effectively implemented and reviewed.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging positive behavior through effective engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and fellow assistants to enrich the educational environment and support the school's success.

Requirements:

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
