Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Bournemouth or surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the classroom teacher to deliver effective lessons and support students with varying learning and emotional needs.
  • Provide individualized support to students, adhering to individual education and behavior plans to ensure consistent and effective support.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and fellow staff members.

Requirements:

  • Be patient, reliable, and proactive.
  • Work well in a team and adapt to the needs of individual pupils.
  • Have experience working 1:1 with children or in small groups.
  • Plan and lead small group interventions to support pupils working below age-related expectations.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
  • 8:30-15:30 hours.
  • £12.82 per hour.
