Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Bournemouth or surrounding areas.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Learning Support Assistant to provide individualized support to students with varying learning and emotional needs. The ideal candidate will be able to work well in a team, adapt to the needs of individual pupils, and have experience working either 1:1 with children or in small groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the classroom teacher to facilitate effective lesson delivery.
  • Provide individualized support to students with varying learning and emotional needs.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and fellow staff members.

Requirements:

  • Must be a patient, reliable, and proactive individual.
  • Be able to work well in a team.
  • Be able to adapt to the needs of individual pupils.
  • Have experience working either 1:1 with children or in small groups.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.82.
  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
  • 8:30-15:30 hours.
