Job Title: SEND Teaching Support Specialist

Overview: Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated and caring Graduate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team in Worcester. The successful candidate will work one-to-one with a Reception pupil who has Autism, providing direct support to ensure their wellbeing and educational success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to a child with Autism
  • Work closely with the school team to develop strategies for meeting the child's needs
  • Support the child's academic progress and overall enjoyment of learning

Requirements:
  • Recent graduate with experience working with children with SEND
  • Strong understanding of Autism and its effects on children
  • Caring and patient nature
