IBA Technician Job Description

High Finance (UK) Limited T/A HFG is seeking an experienced IBA Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of treaty contracts and proportional accounting, as well as a strong understanding of the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a technical case load, working independently to handle all aspects of proportional accounting.
  • Collaborate with the team to manage a wider case load, especially during busy periods.
  • Take the lead on accounts, responding to queries and liaising with business departments to resolve issues in a timely manner.
General Skills & Experience:
  • Strong knowledge of internal policies and procedures.
  • Understanding of IBA Client, Underwriter, and Bureau functions and processes.
  • Principles of insurance and proportional treaty insurance.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and act upon key information.
